I am a political scientist and my research explores the politics of private sector regulation, with a focus on energy- and resource-wealthy economies.

I am currently a research fellow at the Hoover Institution at Stanford University, and a doctoral candidate at the University of Oxford. I also lead the American Consumer Institute’s Energy Policy Program. Previously, I received a Master’s degree in Middle Eastern Studies from Harvard University and a Bachelor’s degree with honors in Land Economy from the University of Cambridge.

On this website you will find my academic publications and policy papers, as well as a collection of public documents that are difficult to find. My policy commentary and op-eds are collated on my Twitter profile. To get in touch, please email me.
